On 27th October 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding an extension of the timeline for implementation of the requirement of a Health Certificate accompanied for imported food consignments. As per the order, the imported food consignments of Milk & Milk products, Pork & Pork products, and Fish & Fish products must be accompanied by a Health certificate in the required format and the timeline for this requirement has been extended to 1st January 2023.
