Another, but final extension to enforce display of “Date of Manufacturing” and ‘Best Before Date” on non-packaged/loose sweets

Taking into view the COVID-19 pandemic, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has allowed another, but final extension to implement the display of “Date of Manufacturing” and “Best Before Date” of non-packaged/loose sweets on their container/tray at the outlet of sale.              

The date has been extended from 1^st August 2020 to 1^st October 2020. The notification is available from fssai website.
