FSSAI has published a draft regulation on 10th Nov 2020 , according to which sale of certain admixtures are prohibited:
- Sale of any Multi sourced edible vegetable oil containing Mustard Oil manufactured on or after 1st October,2020 is prohibited.
- The declaration on label “Blended Edible Vegetable Oil” wherever they occur, shall be substituted with the term “Multi sourced edible vegetable oil”.
