The Excise Department in Mysore, Karnataka, has recalled Rs 25 crore worth of beer bottles after sediments and particles were found in them. The affected bottles were produced at the Nanjangud brewery of United Breweries Limited (UBL), the maker of Kingfisher beer.
Officials has said that the sediments and particles were found in two batches of Kingfisher Ultra beer bottles produced on July 15. According to the lab test, the seized beer is unsafe for human consumption.
