6 Aug 2025, Rajarajeshwari Temple
In a significant step towards ensuring safe and hygienic food offerings, Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple has partnered with the Innovative Food Foundation (InFoFo) and Food Safety Works (FSW) to begin its journey toward achieving BHOG (Blissful Hygienic Offering to God) certification.
This sacred initiative aims to align temple food preparation practices with FSSAI standards. Ensuring that prasadam offered to devotees meets the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
Spiritual Inauguration with Divine Blessings
With the divine grace of Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi and blessings from Sri Jayendrapuri Mahaswamiji, the initiative was formally inaugurated at the temple. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by Mahaswamiji, followed by the chanting of mantras, invoking a spiritual start to a scientific journey.

FoSTaC Training Session Held at the Temple
As part of the certification process, Food Safety Works conducted a FoSTaC (Food Safety Training and Certification) session at the temple premises. The training focused on essential hygiene practices, food handling protocols, and compliance with food safety laws—marking the foundation of the temple’s transformation into a certified BHOG location.
