On 5^th June 2023 under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, the Central Government hereby made a few rules to further amend the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011. These rules may be called the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 and they shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
