The first phase of Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) was launched in 9 states/UTs such as Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Odisha, Goa, Manipur, Puducherry, Chandigarh & Ladakh to replace FLRS w.e.f 1st June 2020.
The launch of second phase of FoSCoS in the rest of 27 states/UTs is planned on 1st November 2020 & to bring this into force, FLRS will be closed for the 27 states/UTs w.e.f 21st October, 1:00 pm.

- FAQs, migration strategy adopted, SOPs & other key orders are available on the homepage.
- A demo version, to know the features of the system, is available at https://fcstraining.fssai.gov.in
If any pending tasks related to FSSAI licensing & registration on FLRS, the users of 27 states/UTs are advised to complete them by 21st October 2020, as FLRS won’t be available for next 10 days. FLRS will be made live on 22nd October 2020 only for licensing & registration related to Indian Railways & handling consumer grievances filed till date.
Also, a newer version of Food Safety Connect (consumer grievance) portal will be made live with FoSCoS on or before 1st Nov 2020.
