FSSC Version 5.1- What’s New?

The Foundation FSSC 22000 published a new version (V5) of the certification scheme on 3rd June 2019. The foundation has issued an update of the version (V5.1) on 3rd Nov 2020. The update is done to match the latest GFSI benchmarking requirements. The major updates are:

  • Storage and Warehousing (All
    Food Chain Categories)
  • Hazard Control and Measures for
    Preventing Cross-Contamination (Food Chain Categories C & I)
  • PRP Verification (Food Chain
    Categories C, D, G, I & K)
  • Product Development (Food Chain
    Categories C, D, E, F, G, I & K)
  • Health Status (Food Chain
    Category D)
  • Requirements for Organizations
    with Multi-Site Certifications (Food Chain Categories A, E, FI & G)
