On 23rd March 2022, FSSAI issued an order with updated guidelines for enrolment of Non Food Production Units (NFP) such as manufacturers of biodiesel, soap, etc. for collection of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) from the FBOs across India. The NFP units intending to collect UCO from FBOs shall submit an application to FSSAI along with the requisite documents in the format provided in the guidelines.
