On 12th July 2022, FSSAI issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on regulatory provisions for ‘Analogues in the Dairy Context’ and ‘Use of Dairy terms in the nomenclature of Milk, Milk products and other foods’. It gives information on the definition and labeling provisions of dairy analogs, the use of dairy terms in food product nomenclature, and the use of the Milk Logo.
