On 11^th May 2023, FSSAI issued the draft FSS (Alcoholic Beverages) Amendment Regulations,2023. The amendments are regarding ‘Ready to drink/ Low alcoholic beverages’, ‘Country liquors’, ‘Honey wine’, ‘wine from other agricultural and plant sources (WAPS)’ and ‘Nitro Craft beer’. The annexures regarding the list of Indian liquors (Distilled liquor, Undistilled liquor, Low alcoholic beverages) are made available in the draft regulations.

Any objections/ suggestions may be sent to regulation@fssai.gov.in within sixty days from the date of publication of this notification.
