On 17th June 2022, FSSAI issued a direction regarding the operationalization of FSS (Labelling and Display) Amendment regulations 2022 related to Labelling requirements of a non-retail container, minimally processed food, tolerance limit for declared nutrients, labelling of fortified foods, and warning statement related to pan masala etc., with effect from 1st July 2022.
