On 27 th August 2021, FSSAI released an order regarding Appeal Procedure related to Claims Approval under FSS (Advertising & Claims) Regulations, 2018.
The CEO, FSSAI shall be the Appellate Authority and Chairperson for the claims approval application and its review process . In case , the authority has rejected the claims approval application, FBO may appeal to the Appellate Authority within 30 days of issue of the Rejection letter.
