FSSAI advisory: Re-operationalize the limits of Selenium, Magnesium, Iron, and Biotin of Food Safety and Standards (Foods for Infant Nutrition) Amendment Regulations, 2022 

On 22nd May 2023, FSSAI issued a letter regarding the revised limit of Selenium, Manganese, Iron, and biotin. As the finalization of the draft FSS (Foods for Infant Nutrition) 2022 may take more time, it has been decided to re-operationalize the limits of Selenium, Magnesium, Iron, and Biotin specified in Annexure -1 [ Food Safety and Standards (Foods for Infant Nutrition) Amendment Regulation, 2022.
