FSSAI has extended the timeline for manufacturing and sale of stapled tea bags in the domestic market until 31.12.2023. FBOs manufacturing stapled tea bags can submit their request for extension of time line for doing so up to 31.12.2021 and such tea bags can be sold in the domestic market up to 31.12.2023.This extension of timeline will be granted only to Manufacturers who have submitted the complete change over roadmap to staple less tea bags.
