On 05th August 2024, FSSAI extended the enrolment of the Non-Production Oil (NFP) Unit for the collection of Used cooking Oil from Food Business Operators.

The validity of provisional enrolment of 50 NFP Units is extended up to 31.07.2025 or till the registration mechanism in the state/UT issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for Biodiesel Manufacturing. NFPs shall be bound to follow SOPs, orders, and guidelines issued by FSSAI.
