On 21^st Sep 2023, FSSAI created a provision in the online Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS) portal to identify the persons of ‘Special Category’ for faster processing of license /registration applications. The “Special Category” Application is to be processed in a 1:1 ratio with the regular application by licensing and registration authorities. A manual for accessing and utilizing this provision is attached in Annexure -I for reference and guidance.
