Direction – Reoperationalization of FSS (Food product standards and Food additives) Amendment Regulation related to standards of Packaged Drinking Water (Other than Mineral Water)
On 26th July 2024, FSSAI issued a Direction for Reoperationalization of FSS (Food Product Standards and Food Additives-Standards of Packaged Drinking water (Other Other Thana Mineral Water). Food Authority has approved the final amendment regulation in the 42nd meeting, and the same is in the process of final notification. It is expected to take time for its publication in the Gazette of India. Meanwhile, to allow the FBOs to formulate packaged drinking water (Other than Mineral water), it has been decided to re-operationalize the following provision with effect from 01.07.2024.
