Food Safety Conversation – Health Star Rating | Helping Indians choose Healthier Foods

Health Star Rating
Helping Indians Choose Healthier Foods

In today’s fast-paced world, making healthy food choices can be confusing. To simplify this, the Health Star Rating (HSR) system has been introduced—an easy-to-read front-of-pack label that helps consumers quickly identify the nutritional quality of packaged foods.

The higher the stars, the healthier the product. It empowers Indians to make informed decisions at a glance, encouraging food manufacturers to improve the quality of their offerings.

At Food Safety Works, we support the adoption of such transparent systems that put the power of choice back into the hands of the consumer. Let’s move toward a future where healthier eating is simpler, smarter, and more accessible for all.
