On 3rd February 2022, FSSAI had issued a direction, in reference to FSS (Labelling and Display) Regulations, 2020,  regarding declaration of percentage (%) contribution to Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for different age groups. It states that in the case of foods that are targeted to a specific age group or physiological condition, respective RDA’s may be considered for declaring per serve (%) RDA.
