On 30th May 2022, FSSAI, issued draft FSS (Food Product Standards and Food additives) Regulations regarding the operationalization of standards of packaged drinking water (other than mineral water) w.r.t. the values of Total Dissolved Solids, Calcium, and Magnesium based on the recommendations of the Scientific Panel/Committee.
