Following complaints from customers in the Kutch district, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has ordered the recall of 131 kg of curd sold under the Amul brand from the state’s open markets.
The GCMMF stated that the curd sample, collected from the batch associated with the complaint, was determined to be safe for consumption when samples were tested. The recall of unsold curd from the open market was a preventive measure.
