On 5th December 2023, FSSAI released an order to streamline the procedure for auto-rejected applications due to non-response to the queries of the licensing authorities within a specified timeline.
i) self-reactivation of auto-rejected applications shall be provided only once for any filed application. ii) within 30 days of auto-rejection of application – without any intervention of authority and fee, it is mandatory to provide a valid reason. iii) During the period of 31st to 60th day of auto rejection – FBOs are allowed to self-reactivate the application without any intervention of authority subject to payment of fee and valid reason for delay
a) Registration application: Rs.50+ GST (as applicable)
b) License application: Rs.500+GST (as applicable)
