World Food Safety Day (WFSD) is celebrated on 7 June 2022 with an aim to draw attention and inspire action to help prevent, detect, and manage foodborne risks, contributing to food security, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture, market access, tourism, and sustainable development. This year’s theme, ‘Safe food, Better Health’, by WHO draws attention and mobilizes action to prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks and improve human health. The idea of World Food Safety Day is to spread awareness about the topic, and we are doing our bit to spread the word to the world.
