FosTac (Food Safety Training and Certification) is a training program mandated by FSSAI, the regulatory and standards of India. Every food establishment is required to have one certified food safety supervisor for every 25 food handlers. As a training partner of FSSAI, we offer various courses under this program, namely the Basic Program for Food Handlers, Food Safety Supervisor for Advanced Manufacturing and Advanced Catering and other vertical specific programs on milk and milk products, bakery, meat and poultry and the like. The duration of the courses vary from a 4 hour course for food handlers to 2 days for some of the special programs.
As the largest training partner for FoSTac based out of Karnataka, we have delivered over 150 trainings. Our trainings are delivered by experts who come with deep domain expertise delivered online through our academy learning portal or offline classroom at your site. While English is the most preferred language, we can deliver trainings in Hindi, Nepali, Kannada and Telugu as well.
Street Food Vendor
The street food vendor training program is a 4 hour program which covers the basics of food safety & hygiene
Manufacturing
This course is for supervisors working in a manufacturing unit. Basic course is for 4 hours and advanced course is for 8 hours.
Catering
This course is for people working in the prepared foods category who deal mainly with fresh food. Basic course is 4 hours and Advanced course is for 8 hours
Storage and Transport
Companies maintaining warehouses and those involved in transporting food are required to get themselves certified for this.
Retail & Distribution
Businesses which sell food either through their store or online must get certified for this course.
