FSSAI Eat Right India
We are an FSSAI partner in implementing some of the initiatives that are being driven by the regulator to ensure safe and healthy food for the nation.
FoSTaC Program
FosTac (Food Safety Training and Certification) is a training program mandated by FSSAI, the regulatory and standards of India. Every food establishment is required to have one certified food safety supervisor for every 25 food handlers.
We are a training partner of FSSAI and we offer various courses under this
program, namely the Basic Program for Food Handlers, Food Safety Supervisor for Advanced Manufacturing and Advanced Catering, Storage and Distribution and other vertical specific programs on milk and milk products, bakery, meat and poultry and the like. The duration of the courses vary from a 4 hour course for food handlers to 2 days for some of the special programs.
You can find the list of upcoming trainings here.

Eat Right Campus
The Eat Right Campus is an initiative by the FSSAI to ensure the citizens eat Safe and Nutritious Food at their workplace. As per the initiatives, campuses which serve food at their premises
can get audited to obtain a rating from 1 to 5 * on how they are faring on providing safe, nutritious food while also factoring in the sustainability.
We help campuses navigating through the process of getting themselves assessed for the same. This includes making modifications to the food menu, training the staff, conducting awareness events and putting up educational content and display to create awareness on the topic

Eat Right School
The Eat Right School initiative of FSSAI is designed to deliver and reinforce the message of safe and nutritious food through both curricular and co-curricular activities, and ensure an enabling legislative and regulatory framework to promote safe and wholesome food in both government and private schools across the country.
As an implementation partner for the Eat Right School program, we can help you with the regulatory compliance, training and creating educational and engagement programs for both the students and the parents.

Hygiene Rating
Hygiene Rating is a FSSAI rating system where FSSAI empanelled agencies can audit the facility to provide a suitable hygiene rating score. This hygiene rating score may be displayed at the premises, or online, to communicate to the consumer that you care about the food safety and hygiene. This certification is available to retail outlets, namely Hotels/Restaurants, Sweet shops and Meat shops. We enable these establishments to obtain the rating by guiding them through the process of obtaining the same.

BHOG Program
Places of Worship (PoW) are a very important part of Indian society and food served in these places is regarded as pure and sacred. BHOG (Blissful Hygienic Offering to God) is a part of the Eat Right initiative to encourage PoW to adopt and maintain food safety and hygiene while preparing prasad/food and includes training the food handlers and vendors in and around the premises of the PoW. Implementation of BHOG would help to ensure that safe and wholesome prasad is received by the devotees along with the blessings of God. We help doing the per-assessment audits and trainings so that the places may be audited and get certified under BHOG.

Year of Millets
Millets have been an integral part of our diet for centuries. In addition to a plethora of health benefits, millets are also good for the environment with low water & input requirement. With the aim to create awareness and increase production & consumption of millets, United Nations, at the behest of the Government of India, declared 2023 the International Year Millets. FSSAI has been organizing millet themed Eat Right Melas across the country to create awareness on usage of millets and food safety aspects.
We work with FSSAI to bring together millet based product manufacturers and setup booths at the melas to showcase the products as well as demonstrate various aspects of food safety.

Food-O- Copoeia
Food – O – Copoeia (launched by FSSAI) is a collection of food category-wise monographs, where different vertical and horizontal regulations in FSSR prescribing standards for various food products/ food categories are brought together at one place. It acts as a single point reference for all applicable standards for a specific product category. It specifies the quality and food safety standards (Physico-chemical, Microbiological, Contaminants, Toxins and Residues), labelling and claim requirements, specific packaging requirement, test methods and other regulatory provisions as per FSSRs. FBOs may use it as ready reckoner for product standards. Note: This document is for reference purpose only and cannot be considered as a legal document.

Note: The term Food – O – Copoeia is a take on pharmakopoiia “making of (healing) medicine, drug-making“. The spelling makes it rather difficult to find it and FSSAI would have done well to make it simpler like food-o-copia or any other simpler term.
