On 2nd May 2022, FSSAI issued a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Mandatory Modification of Old Licenses granted from the FLRS portal. FBOs who have applied for modification of license before the expiry date can file for renewal of their license simultaneously without waiting for the approval of their modification application by the authority and those who have their license expired also can file for renewal according to the terms and conditions as applicable. It is to be noted that the renewal of the license is allowed only for a period of one year.
