On 6^th October 2023, FSSAI issued an order regarding the extension of last date for online submission of annual returns for FY 2022-2023 and renewal of expired license/ registration, by FBOs of Manipur. This order has been issued in consideration of the law and order situation during previous months in the state of Manipur, when internet services were unavailable to the larger part of the population of the state. FSSAI granted extension in the following timelines for FBOs of Manipur.

1. Licenses/ Registrations which have been expired since 1^st May 2023, if renewed on or before 15^th November 2023, no penalty shall be levied.

2. The deadline for the submission of Annual returns for the Licensed Manufacturers and Importers of Manipur has been extended to 15^th November 2023 without any late fee.
