On April 12, 2024, FSSAI published a clarification regarding misinterpretation of the display information such as declaration of calorific value, allergen, nutritional information etc. by Food Service Establishments.
It is clarified that the Food Service Establishments have the flexibility/discretion to select any one of the methods for providing the information as specified below:
