On 12th April 2024, FSSAI issued an advisory about the documents that can be used for the proof of premises for making the licensing application. The following documents can be used:

1) Sale Deed / Rent or Lease Agreement

2)Proof of address issued by Government Authority (Such as Voter ID, Aadhaar-self owned premises.

3) Premise Registration by Land Authority.

4) Property Tax Receipt (within one year) or Valid Insurance of Premises or Valid Fire Safety Certificate.

5) Utility Bills(Not older than 3 Months)

6) Any other documents issued by the Government for that premise.
