Food Import/Export

Food exports from India have been growing at a constant pace and crossed the US $50 billion mark during 2021-22, and yet detention and rejects continue to be high. A lot of them are completely avoidable. As regulatory and compliance experts we help food businesses that want to export ensure that they are complying with the country’s standards. The following are the services we provide

Country Specific
Registrations

Food is a high-risk product and all countries require some kind of local registration, licensing, and representation. We help our customers obtain for local country registrations by applying on their behalf. We also help put together the documentation set required for application and related documents including the study reports that may be required by a certain category of products.

Exports of commodities may require registration with the local bodies APEDA, Spice Board, Tea Board, Coffee Board, and the like. We can help you get those registrations.

For countries like the USA, we can also help register the facility for FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program)

Local Inspection Support

We can help you effectively implement the Food Safety Management System of your choice. If your facility has been identified for inspection by the client, we can conduct a pre-audit and share with you the potential gaps in the system so that they do not come in as a surprise at the time of client inspection. We can also help you put together a corrective action plan for any non-compliances that might have been raised.

We also conduct local inspections for our overseas clients on their behalf if they source from India
