On 04^th Dec 2020, FSSAI has published a draft amendment of FSS (Fortification of Foods) Regulations, 2018. Stakeholders can send their suggestions and comments within 60 days from the date of publication of this draft. The highlights of the draft are:

• The packaged refined edible vegetable oil weighing not more than 15 kg shall be fortified with Vitamin A and Vitamin D

• The Packaged Toned, double toned, skimmed milk or standardized milk shall be fortified with Vitamin A and Vitamin D and shall comply with the level specified in clause (3) of Schedule –I .
