On 7th March 2023. FSSAI issued an order regarding the clearance of Imported consignments of Food Grains including Pulses and Crude oil (Edible grade). In order to facilitate the timely processing and clearance of the stated consignments, the importers are required to submit a declaration form (given in the annexure) to the concerned Authorised Officer and the Authrised Officers will draw the samples and issue a provisional NOC after satisfactory visual inspection. On receipt of the analysis report, the Authorised Officer will issue the final NOC, if the product conforms to FSSAI standards.
