On 11th January 2023, FSSAI issued an advisory regarding the escalation matrix for raising grievances/ queries related to Central licenses/ applications. As per the advisory, any FBO who is aggrieved by the decision taken by the Central Licensing Authority can escalate the case to the Concerned Regional Director and in case if the FBO further wants to represent his case, either after receiving comments from the concerned Regional Director or in case no comments have been received within 21 days from raising the request to the concerned Regional Director, can escalate the case to Executive Director (Compliance Strategy), FSSAI, HQs, New Delhi.
